WHO IS DOMENICO VALENTINO?
Domenico Valentino is a family owned and operated distributor of fine Italian wines in the state of New York.  We supply sustainable wines to the best restaurants and retailers in the New York City area and beyond.  What sets us apart is that we are also the importer of these wines working directly with the families that produce them.  We know their family history and their land, their personal stories and their children.  If there is ever a question - we get the answer straight from the source. 

Our regional Italian wines are made in typical style using native varieties.  We look for expertly made wines produced without unnecessary intervention that represent the best characteristics of their varieties and terroir.  We are exploring Italy through wine.

Founded in 2005 in New York City. 

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ORDERING?
Here is what you need to know:

• Wholesale orders may be placed directly with your rep or by calling 212.679.0822, or by emailing orders@domenicovalentino.com

• You may also order via Sevenfifty.com where you can also view our full selection of wines and easily set up an account.

• For the immediate NYC area: Minimum order for free delivery is $500. Smaller orders will include a $25 surcharge.  

• Orders placed by 3:00 pm are guaranteed for next business day delivery.  For Upstate deliveries, please call our office to confirm minimums and/or surcharges.  Depending on your location, a 2-day lead time may be required. 

WHEN DO YOU DELIVER?
In the New York City area and Long Island we deliver to the trade Monday through Friday year-round, except on Federal Holidays.  For Upstate, please inquire as delivery days may be limited. 

ARE YOUR WINES ORGANIC/BIODYNAMIC?
The wines we import are made by farmers first, farmers who happen to be great winemakers.  Regardless of their certifications, allegiances or memberships in movements they are all passionate stewards of their land.  They understand agronomy and work their vineyards with energy, enthusiasm, creativity and intelligence.  They farm sustainably because that’s the only way to guarantee a home and a future for themselves and their children.

By working sustainably they incorporate organic practices in their individual way, some follow biodynamic principles.  Each wine is the vision of the individual producer created with respect for the land and local tradition. 

DO YOU SELL DIRECT TO CONSUMER?
We do not, we are strictly a distributor that sells exclusively to the trade.  Ask for our wines at your favorite local wine shop and at restaurants across the city.  Drop us a line if you would like to know where to find a specific wine.  If you are a consumer living outside of New York City and would like to purchase our wines for delivery, let us know and we will connect you with one of our retailers that can ship directly to you.
